When I compare my classmates’ guardianship care service, Asian Student Accommodation, (ASA) guardianship service excels far beyond. I would not change any part of the service you provide. You genuinely cared for me and were always there. My life in Melbourne was made so much easier. I was never lost or lonely but some of my classmates were. Your service is worth every cent that my parents have paid and I am so glad they chose ASA.

Thank you for being my guardian. I could not speak any English when I arrived and yet you look after me so well. My parents are so grateful for all the support and kind advice you gave me. It helped me to adjust to my new school quickly and I stopped being afraid.

I cannot express how important it was for me to have a guardian who understands about my Muslim culture and beliefs. You made me feel so at ease and showed me how to adjust in to a western culture. Your guidance has been so valuable in my schooling and I can never thank you enough. Showing me the Halal restaurants and shops was very kind and considerate of you. My parents were so happy to meet you in person.

Thank you for all that you have done for me. You have an outstanding service for international students and you truly understand them and their needs. I will definitely recommend Asian Student Guardianship to all my family and friends. You do not JUST provide lip service; you actually walk the talk in all facets of your guardianship. I am so happy my parents chose you to look after me. It is like wining a lottery ticket.

When I first arrived, I know I showed that I had everything under control but you were able to look through my different layers and see the real me. You have taught me to accept my weakness and my strengths and work through them. Mum is amazed at how you can pick things up quickly. Because of your guidance, I have done well and joined a good university. ASA your service is outstanding.

I found it really hard to adjust and you were so patient with me. I chose a course that was quite difficult and you made sure that I did not give up. You counselled me and my parents through our tough period. I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. You taught me to be strong and it helped me enormously during my studies. I was always able to speak to someone when I was feeling down and know that they were actually listening and showing genuine interest in my life. This is god sent, because many of my friends never even heard or saw their guardians.

I came to Melbourne very young and vulnerable; you took me under your wing. You guided me and helped me grow through my teens. You were able to communicate well with my parents. You also helped me to fit in to my new school by working closely with my teachers. You were like a real mum while mine was away and I will never forget your love and kindness. My promise still stands: come to Thailand and I will take you toChaing Mai to see the elephants. Mum says she can never repay you for all that you have done for me.

I was all alone, young and innocent when I first arrived and you made me feel so welcome. You looked after me so well and even when I turned 18, you still cared for me. What more can I say about your service. You looked after your students like they were your own kids; even my mum was so impressed. She says that I have changed in to a young lady after being in your care. I wear skirts and make up…

I found studying in Melbourne difficult. You explained to me how I had to take things one step at a time. Not to rush. You assisted me with tutors which I never thought I needed. You made my parents realise how I was struggling and how I needed their support and encouragement. I made it to university because of your guidance. My friends asked me why I did not change to a cheaper guardianship service. I am glad I did not listen to them because many of them have not made it to university, I have. Thank you for being there for me.

How I have grown after meeting you. I could not have asked for a better guardian. You made me feel warm and welcomed and took care of all my problems during my stay in Melbourne. My mum felt relieved that I was in your care. Many of my friends wanted you to be their guardian to but it was just not possible. I am glad mum chose you because of the services you provided.

We felt so relaxed knowing that you were looking after us. We have never left home before and we were very frightened of our move to Melbourne. Being sisters, you took care of us very well and taught us to budget and shop carefully. You introduce us to the library and encouraged us to read more English books. My parents are very grateful to you and they want you to visit Vietnam soon. They appreciated the regular feedback about our studies and how we were coping in a new country. Thank you for showing us where all the Vietnamese markets were so that we could find our home cooked food.

Your dedication and effort in caring for me during my high school days has been invaluable. I whole heartedly believe that your care and encouragement made me not give up my studies and return to Hongkong. Thank you for speaking to my parents about my need for private tutoring and identifying the right teachers for me. Because of these positive changes, I made it to university. Your kindness and patience was very important for me to adjust to my new life in Melbourne. Mum and dad feel forever grateful.

I was fifteen when I came to Melbourne. I was quite frightened about my new life. My English was so poor and yet you were able to make me feel comfortable. You explained the cultural differences to me and taught me how to make friends with the local students at school. When I was invited for my first Australian footy game with the local students, I knew that I had made it. You are an inspiration.
I am glad mum listened to the school and picked you for my guardian and not the agent. I have grown so much emotionally and physically with your guidance.
